A farmer comes home to find his sheepdog waiting for him. The sheepdog says:
“I herded the sheep into the barn, just like you asked!”
“You sure you got them all?” The farmer replies.
“Yep! All 40 of them!” Says the sheepdog.
“40? But I only have 37 sheep.” Replies the farmer.
The sheepdog answers:
“I know. I rounded them up for you.”
A farmer’s donkey fell down the well.
Then he thinks the donkey is old and the well also needed to be covered up. He thought it wasn’t worth it to save the donkey.
So, he invited his neighbours to come and help him in filling the well with mud.
Everyone grabbed a shovel and began to throw the dirt into the well.
At first, the donkey cried horribly as he realized what was going on, but then to everyone’s amazement he stopped crying.
Everyone Gets Surprised By What They See
As they were shoveling the mud into the well, they realized what the donkey was doing.
Each shovel that was thrown into the well, the donkey would shake it off with his back and take a step up.
Finally, the donkey manages to come out of the well and happily trots off!
Moral Of The Story:
