1. A program that is very expensive

I explain to you… In 30 minutes, this program washes, rinses and spins the laundry. To do this, the washing machine must heat the water very quickly. And that requires a lot of energy all at once. Electricity consumption is then significant. This therefore costs a lot of electricity !
2. A program that is not very effective against stains
Another problem is that this program is not super effective against dirt . Concretely, it does not allow deep cleaning of encrusted stains. For what ? Because the temperature of this 30 min program is not very high. In general, this short cycle has a temperature of 30° to 40°C . Thus, certain stains do not come out and the laundry is not disinfected. Not great for baby clothes, sheets, towels and really dirty laundry in general! It is therefore better to reserve it for lightly soiled laundry or for washing synthetic or cotton clothes.
3. A small amount of laundry washed each time
When you use this 30 min program, it is advisable not to overfill the machine . Because the program uses less water than a traditional program. If you put too many dirty clothes in the machine, they will not be washed properly. But the worst part is that they aren’t rinsed properly either. Not only do the stains not come out, but laundry residue becomes embedded in the fibers. The laundry becomes rough and grayish… And that’s not all. 4. A program that is not suitable for delicate laundry
You would think that this short program would be suitable for delicate laundry. In any case, I thought so! But this is not the case for my Whirlpool washing machine. Silk underwear, wool clothing, lace… You need a gentle and adapted program for these fragile tissues… This is not the case for our 30 min program. To wash a delicate textile, you must choose the wool or silk program. These are programs well adapted to the temperature level. But what’s more, the drum turns slowly and the spinning is very gentle. To find out which program is most suitable, do not hesitate to consult the instructions for your washing machine.
