Prince Harry has made a terrible admission about ever retuning to the UK with his family after moving to the US with wife Meghan Markle in 2020.
It’s now been over five years since Harry and Meghan made the choice to resign as senior royals, and move their young family over to live in the US.
While their son, Prince Archie, spent the first few months of his life in the UK, it’s approved that his sister, Princess Lilibet, has only ever visited once.
But Harry has committed that his ‘worst fears have been confirmed’, after opening up about his family ever returning to his homeland.
He fears that the UK is not a safe place for his family to be.
Sharing in a recent interview with the BBC, Harry said: “I can’t see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the UK at this point.”
He continued that not having security in the UK was his ‘worst fear’, and meant that his children will miss out on so much.
He said: “My worst fears have been confirmed by the whole legal disclosure in this case, and that’s really sad.”
The 40-year-old added: “The things that they’re going to miss is, well, everything. I miss the UK, I miss parts of the UK, of course I do.
“I think that it’s really quite sad that I won’t be able to show my children my homeland.”
He wants to freely visit Britain, without a worry for his family’s safety.
Speaking to Hello magazine, a source reported: “The goal for Prince Harry is simple. He wants to ensure the safety of himself and his family while in the UK so his children can know his home country and so he can help support his patronages and their important work.”
A spokesperson for Prince Harry confirmed that the Duke does not want preferable treatment, just action that is fair.
Harry himself shared that the public would be ‘surprised’ by what information was being held back during the appeal.
