Firefighter revealed Princess Diana’s tragic final words before she di:ed

In just a few months, we will be approaching the late Princess Diana’s d3ath anniversary.

The mother-of-two spoke her farewell words on August 31, 28 years ago, before falling into a coma and dying in 1997.

Diana, then 36, was enjoying her evening in Paris, the City of Love, with her alleged boyfriend Dodi Fayed when catastrophe struck.

The driver of ‘People’s Princess’, the mother of Prince Harry and Prince William and ex-wife of King Charles III, named Henri Paul, and Dodi’s bodyguard, Trevor Rees-Jones, were all in the car when paparazzi pursued them through the Pont de l’Alma underpass.

The paparazzi chase eventually ended in a catastrophic vehicle wreck.

When French firefighters arrived at the site, one of them had no idea that he would hear the royal family member’s final words.

According to sources, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to cra.sh into a column inside the tunnel, k*lling both himself and Dodi on impact.

Diana and Dodi’s bodyguard were still alive, but critically injured, and had to be transported to the hospital for life-saving treatment.

On the 20th anniversary of her d3ath in 2017, Xavier Gourmelon spoke with Good Morning Britain about what she told him that night.

Claiming that when they arrived at the scene, no one knew Diana was one of the victims.

When she regained consciousness in the rear of the car while speaking with him, she allegedly asked, “Oh my god, what’s happened?”

He said the late Princess then became temporarily agitated before losing consciousness again

“I tried to calm her down and tell her we’d look after her, and she fell into a coma again.”

It was during her removal from the car, however, that Xavier says her health rapidly deteriorated.

“At that moment, the doctor said she was in cardiac arrest. So, we gave her CPR and after 20 seconds, she regained consciousness, and we transferred her to the ambulance.”

Unfortunately, despite physicians at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris fought to save her life, the princess expired the next morning at 4 a.m. due to another heart arrest from which surgeons were unable to resuscitate her.

While the late Princess of Wales, Dodi, and their driver Paul perished, Dodi’s bodyguard, Trevor Rees-Jones, was critically injured but survived.
