There’s growing speculation that Donald Trump may not remain in office through the end of the year.
Since beginning his second term in January, Trump has stirred up a series of controversies in a short amount of time.
From his much-touted “Big, Beautiful Bill” and a public feud with Elon Musk, to his controversial ties to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein and a headline-grabbing meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House, Trump’s presidency has continued to make waves.
His alleged association with Epstein has become a particularly sensitive topic, especially amid criticism that his administration is selectively releasing documents related to the convicted s3x offender, rather than disclosing the full set.
In a recent move seemingly aimed at silencing critics, Trump called on the Department of Justice to unseal all grand jury materials connected to the Epstein case.
Posting on Truth Social on July 19, Trump wrote:
“I have asked the Justice Department to release all Grand Jury testimony concerning Jeffrey Epstein, subject only to Court Approval. With that being said, and even if the Court gave its full and unwavering approval, nothing will be good enough for the troublemakers and radical left lunatics making the request. It will always be more, more, more. MAGA!”
Despite this gesture, some political analysts believe the Epstein scandal could spell serious trouble for Trump—and may even force him out of office, potentially paving the way for JD Vance to take his place before 2025 ends.
TikToker Josh Greene shared this theory in a viral video that’s amassed over 275,000 views, speculating on what he sees as signs that Trump might not serve out his full term.
“His popularity is plummeting right now,” Greene said in the clip.
He noted that Vance is relatively untouched by the Epstein controversy, “at least to some degree.”
Beyond political scandals, concerns have also emerged about Trump’s health, particularly following his recent diagnosis with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI)—a condition where the leg veins struggle to return blood to the heart, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
“He is not in good shape,” Greene added.
Online reactions to Greene’s video were mixed, with many users expressing doubts that JD Vance would offer any meaningful change.
“He’s just as bad,” one commenter wrote. Another added, “Vance is a danger to the USA, just as bad as Trump if not worse.”
Some commenters, however, pushed back on the idea that Trump would ever willingly leave office.
“There is absolutely zero chance Trump would ever resign,” one person insisted. Echoing that view, another wrote, “I think Trump’s ego is too big to resign.”
So, could a presidential switch actually be on the horizon—or is it all just political fantasy?
What do you think?
