According to Dailymail, Dave Fletcher, 39, from Caines, Worcester, took his 23-month-old daughter Izzy to a public playground to play on the swing.
At that time, Mr. Dave took a picture of the girl falling asleep on the swing. Unexpectedly, just a few weeks later, she was diagnosed with c.a.n.c.e.r. Doctors said that the signs of d.e.a.t.h originated right from this photo.
Dave said: “She was drowsy and fell asleep but I didn’t think much of it. I thought it was a cute moment and just took a picture of her as you do.”
After that day, baby Izzy spread a red rash on her legs and she then developed a temperature, so her parents took her to Worcester Royal Hospital. The little girl was diagnosed with l.e.u.k.a.e.m.i.a the same day and began a course of chemotherapy the following week. At that time, father Dave realized that his daughter’s unusual exhaustion while she was playing in the park was actually a sign of c.a.n.c.e.r.
“She was only 23 months old, couldn’t talk yet. It wasn’t until later that we looked back at the photo taken at the park that day, and we were heartbroken to know how much she had suffered but couldn’t tell.”, he said.
That photo was a sign of d.e.a.t.h coming and Izzy could d..ie if she was not treated in time.
After more than 570 times of chemotherapy, little Izzy was finally free from the scythe of d.e.a.t.h. Doctors always remind parents: Be alert and pay more attention to the signs of unusually fast fatigue in your children.
