You are not good enough … YET!
When they said:
You’re not good enough.
They weren’t exactly wrong.
Now, they didn’t have to be mean.
But I chose to add my own word to it and say:
I’m not good enough… yet.
And sometimes when people give you harsh critique.
It’s easy to say:
I’m not good enough.
Or maybe even:
I’ll never be good enough.
And that’s OK to say, and that’s OK to accept for yourself… this morning.
But you will be better tomorrow.
You’re going to show up.
You’re going to work hard.
And you will earn your place in this world.
But just because you aren’t good enough yet…
Doesn’t mean you will never be.
Just because you’re not where you want to be right now.
Doesn’t mean you’re never going to get there.
