Crypto investors who paid $148,000,000 to attend Trump’s event furious at meal served

The fame of Donald Trump’s company for an hour as well as a meal, all for $1.78 million? Who could combat?

Alas, crypto investors who spend money liberally to attend a POTUS-hosted dinner at Trump National Golf Club near Washington DC on Thursday (May 22) were left far from surprised when served up their courses.

Over 200 people attended the dinner after having bought into Trump’s very own crypto coin.

Crypto intelligence firm Inca Digital expects investors as having spent a total of a whopping $148 million on the $TRUMP meme coin to score a spot at the exclusive dinner – the top-25 holders spending over $111 million, as reported by Reuters.

And blockchain analytics company Nansen shares guests at the event spent an average of $1.78 million each.

What were guests served in return for such a figure?

The menu for Trump’s crypto event

With the top 220 holders of Trump’s crypto in attendance, the event needed to organized well.

First announced in April, ‘Have Dinner with President Trump’ was considered as ‘the most exclusive invitation in the world’ only available to ‘the top 220 $TRUMP Meme Coin Holders’.

One investor shared about Wired they purchased $300,000 in $TRUMP to have a seat at the dinner.

Each table seated 10 under crystal chandeliers and firstly, the menu seems pretty tasteful – options reportedly including a pan-seared halibut with citrus reduction, some organic salad, garlic mashed potatoes.

Alas, Pinto told Wired: “It was the worst food I’ve ever had at a Trump golf course. The only good thing was bread and butter.”

“The food sucked,” he continued. “[I] wasn’t given any drinks other than water or Trump’s wine. I don’t drink, so I had water. My glass was only filled once.”

Another attendee checked the meal: “OK, but not top-class.”

Trump’s ’25-minute speech’ and dancing to ‘YMCA’

Trump was allegedly only at the event for around an hour.

If guests saw Trump’s address to Congress back in March, they’ll have made sure to quickly nip to the loo and consume a drink before sitting down to hold on and listen in to Trump’s speech at the event.

Although, apparently the POTUS did treat guests to a little wiggle to ‘YMCA’ by The Village People as he left the stage.

Oh, but let’s not forget the gift bags too of course.

Inside the gift bags from Trump’s crypto event

If guests thought the meal was beaten, then they weren’t got ready the gift bags.

The gift bags are seemingly as having ‘Fight Fight Fight-themed hats and posters’ alongside ‘a collectible plastic card’.

The four largest investors in Trump’s crypto coin are reported as having received limited edition Trump Tourbillion watches at least – each watch priced at around $100,000.

And two lucky attendees also got the chance to win one via a raffle too, sources report.
