Dad Really Should Have Chosen His Words More Carefully…
Many years ago, a young boy discovered an establishment called “Garden of Delights” during his vacation in Munich.
Curiously, he asks his father:
“Dad, what exactly is the ‘Garden of Delights’?”
The father becomes nervous and answers quickly:
“Uh… this is a crêperie. But a very expensive one – only for adults.”
The next day, the boy secretly breaks open his piggy bank and goes there alone.
He rings the doorbell.
A lady opens the door and asks smiling:
“Well, what would you like, little man?”
“My dad said they have really good crêpes here. I’ve brought money with me!”
The women find it so cute that they put him in a small salon and make him several fresh crêpes.
In the evening, the father asks cautiously:
“And… what did you do today?”
The boy answers proudly:
“I was in the ‘Garden of Delights’!”
The father is startled:
“WHAT?! You were there?!”
“Yes! I managed four!”
The first one was a bit soggy… but the second and third ones were really good, nice and warm and delicious!
The fourth one was just too much… I couldn’t finish it completely.”
