Little Johnny skipped school one day.
Since his house was right next to the school, his teacher decided to visit his family the following afternoon.
When the teacher arrived, Johnny’s grandpa was the only adult home.
He spotted the teacher coming up the walkway and quickly whispered,
“Johnny! Your teacher is here! Hide! I’ll tell her you’re not home.”
Johnny shook his head.
“No, Grandpa. You hide!”
Grandpa looked confused.
“Why me?”
Johnny smiled innocently.
“Because I already told my teacher you went to your funeral!”
Grandpa froze.
“Wait… WHAT?”
Johnny shrugged.
“Don’t worry, Grandpa. You’re already dead at school.”
Grandpa stared at him and muttered,
“I should’ve stayed in bed today.”
