Tori Spelling is facing heat from online users over the two-piece bikini she recently wore. Many people found her appearance unpleasant and speculated that she had done cosmetic treatments to acquire her slender figure. The scandalous photos of the celebrity came after she acknowledged to taking weight loss drugs.
Tori Spelling, 51, of “Beverly Hills, 90210,” was seen on Tuesday, July 2, enjoying a day at the beach in Malibu, California, dressed up for the occasion. Photos showing her splashing around in the sea and resting on the sand in a neon green bikini have elicited a flurry of negative responses online.
Tori’s neon swimsuit left nothing to the imagination, emphasizing her tiny body while exposing her cleavage and rib cage. Her bikini bottom also highlighted her flat stomach and piercings on the left side of her hip.
The mother of five dressed up her beach outfit with trendy eyeglasses, a gold necklace, and a body chain wrapped over her belly.
Tori spent some time tanning with her friend, Laura Rugetti, who wore a zebra-print one-piece and a white wide-brimmed hat.
According to accounts, the two gal buddies spent more than two hours on the beach. Tori’s fit physique did not go unnoticed by the public. However, rather than applauding her beautiful form, many people chastised her for not naturally acquiring her shape and voiced scorn for her appearance.
“Let’s be honest, it’s called plastic surgery,” remarked a Facebooker in the comment section of a post about Tori’s day at the beach. Another agreed and added, “[She] literally has no belly button!”
Writing their comment in all caps, someone else exclaimed, “NOT A GOOD LOOK.” Similarly, an Instagrammer echoed, “That doesn’t look good.” Jumping on the criticism bandwagon, one observer urged, “Sorry girl…use a [cover-up].”
One person who felt particularly strongly about Tori showing off her slim figure, asserted, “She’s had many babies. That photo has likely been retouched or she’s had work done. This is why other women end up thinking that they don’t look ok.”
Despite the criticism, other individuals came to Tori’s defense, praising how stunning she looked in her neon bikini. Dolores Catania from “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” was among many who praised Tori.
The TV celebrity commented on a media outlet’s Instagram post on Tori, saying, “She looks amazing.” Another fan complimented the podcaster, writing, “This is the best I’ve seen her look in a really long time.”
Tori may not have utilized plastic surgery to improve her form, as many netizens believe, but she has been open about the methods she employed to attain her body type.
According to Page Six, who posted photos of Tori at the beach, “#ToriSpelling showed off her slimmed-down figure after confirming she used Ozempic and Mounjaro to shed pounds following the birth of her son Beau.”
In April of this year (2024), the “True Tori” star made the aforementioned statement on her podcast “Misspelling.” “I did Mounjaro and everyone admits it now. I tried Ozempic and it didn’t work for me,” she acknowledged on the podcast episode.
Ozempic and Mounjaro are diabetic medicines used to manage type II diabetes. However, many celebrities have used them to lose weight.
Tori explained why she chose the medicines over other ways such as working exercise, adding, “It’s a different time, so I don’t feel ashamed saying that. I couldn’t lose the baby weight … I was lucky enough that with four of my babies, I lost the baby weight afterward.”
The 51-year-old also emphasized how fortunate she was before starting diabetic meds because she doesn’t enjoy working out or drinking water, yet she managed to stay naturally slender before having Beau McDermott, one of her sons with Dean McDermott. “My whole life I didn’t diet. I was born with really good genes,” she earlier stated.
Tori stated that the biggest she has ever weighed is 120 pounds. However, after welcoming Beau, that number rose to 160 pounds.
Tori stated that she went to her doctor after struggling to reduce weight and was told that she couldn’t drop weight due to her age; she was 44 at the time.
She claimed that consuming protein, working out, and trying new diets did not work for her. Tori chose to try weight loss medication after undergoing hormone treatment for menopause at her doctor’s office.
As previously stated, she turned to Mounjaro after trying Ozempic and found that it did not produce the effects she desired. Tori did, however, affirm that she has quit using the medicine.
“I’m no longer on it but I did lose weight. I haven’t been on it since end of January. I did go off of it because I didn’t want to lose too much weight,” she stated.
Apart from discussing her venture into weight loss medication, Tori Spelling also made it a point to boast about her ability to keep her lady parts intact even after delivering all five of her kids via C-section.
