A husband was driving to work when he heard something exciting on the radio:
“Families with at least ten children could receive $100,000!”
He immediately turned the car around and raced home.
“Babe! We’re rich!” he shouted.
His wife looked confused.
“They’re giving $100,000 to families with ten kids! We already have nine…”
He paused dramatically.
“…and I have another son with another woman.”
His wife stared at him.
“I’m so sorry I cheated,” he continued. “But don’t worry! I’ll go get him right now, and we’ll have our ten kids!”
He jumped in the car and sped off.
A little while later, he returned home with a huge smile.
Then he stopped.
The house was completely empty.
No kids.
No toys.
No wife.
He panicked.
“Honey?! Where is everybody?”
His wife calmly stepped out of the bedroom.
“Oh, they’re gone.”
“Where did they go?!”
She smiled sweetly.
“Their dads came to pick them up.”
The husband slowly sat down.
Apparently, he wasn’t the only one with a surprise child.
