The Farmer’s Dramatic Way to Chase Thieves
An elderly farmer lived alone on a remote country farm. One night, right before going to bed, he looked out the window and spotted three thieves sneakily breaking into his expensive tool shed.
He immediately called the police: “Hello! There are three thieves breaking into my shed. Please send someone over right away!”
The officer on the other end replied in a tired voice, “Sir, all of our patrol cars are currently busy handling a major accident in the next town. That’s about 20 miles away, so the earliest we can get there is an hour. Please lock your doors tightly and hide!”
The farmer hung up, thought for a moment, and called back a minute later. His voice was completely calm:
“Hello, there’s no need to hurry anymore. I just used my sh0tg*n and sh0t all three thieves de@d. I’ve stacked their b0dies neatly in the front yard, so you can just take your time and come clean it up tomorrow morning!”

Less than 5 minutes later, three police cars and an ambulance with sirens blaring flew into the farmer’s yard at a terrifying speed. The police officers swarmed the area and caught all three thieves red-handed, who were standing there completely bewildered.
The police captain walked up to the farmer, panting heavily, and asked, “Hey, sir! Didn’t you say you shot all three thieves de@d?!”
The farmer smiled calmly, took a sip of his tea, and replied, “And didn’t you
say that all your patrol cars were busy and you wouldn’t be here for an hour?!”
