I was chatting with a woman at a bar when I asked,
“Can I buy you a drink?”
She looked me up and down and asked,
“Do you have a girlfriend?”
“Guys like you always have girlfriends.”
I smiled innocently.
“No, sadly. We broke up about a month ago.”
“Oh, I’m sorry to hear that,” she said.
“Go on then… I’ll have a white wine.”
A few drinks later, we were getting along extremely well, and eventually headed back to her place.
The next morning, while I was getting dressed, she looked at me and said,
“You’re handsome, you’re sweet, and you’re amazing in bed.”
“So why on earth did you and your girlfriend break up?”
I paused, took a deep breath, and said,
“My wife found out.”
She stared at me.
I stared at her.
Then she pointed toward the door.
“Get dressed faster. I suddenly have a very strong reason to be single too.”
