The Teacher Tried to Scare Little Johnny. His Comeback Left Her Speechless.
During lunch recess, the schoolteacher was doing her usual rounds when she caught Little Johnny standing by the swings, pulling some of the most hideous, distorted faces at another student.
Hoping to teach him a lesson in manners, the teacher walked over, put her hands on her hips, and adopted a stern voice.
“Johnny,” she said knowingly, “when I was a little girl, my mother always told me that if I made ugly faces and the wind suddenly changed direction, my face would stay frozen that way forever.”
Little Johnny paused, looked up at the wrinkles and stern expression on his teacher’s face, and nodded sympathetically.
“Well, Miss,” Johnny sighed, “you certainly can’t say you weren’t warned.”
